CADNO - Roll profile measuring

CADNO measuring instruments are based on the proven, high precision scanning micrometer. In combination with state of the art electronics and software this user-friendly, durable and robust instrument is specifically designed for of the rough environment of rolling mills and roll grinding shops.

With the included software application, the measured values can be displayed as a detailed roll profile by the click of a button. This graph can be saved at each re-grind therby allowing the complete grinding history of the roll to be recorded from when it´s first used until it is scrapped.

CADNO V2 Software

The CADNO V2 software package does not only offer the easy visualization and analysis of the measured values but also includes a database to allow the grinding history of the entire roll fleet to be stored and retrieved.

High Definition and easily scalable graphics allow easy visualization of roll profiles, tolerances and comparability before and after each grinding process.

The integrated database allows for easy archiving of ground roll profiles and makes the before and after comparison extremely user friendly. Imagine comparing the current profile of a roll to its new condition within seconds even years after purchasing – with CADNO V2 this is easy.

The easy export of data to other applications allows for far reaching analysis and calculations. Determine the lifespan, total cost of ownership and performance parameters for each roll you own.
